Welcome to Masjid ul Mu’mineen, a spiritual haven situated in the peaceful embrace of Cunaripo, Sangre Grande. Our masjid was brought into being through the generous initiative of Brother Arman Mohammed, who donated both the land and the building. This foundational act of kindness set the stage for what has become a vibrant center for worship, education, and community bonding. The Masjid is proudly kept in trust and under the careful stewardship of Darul Uloom Trinidad & Tobago, ensuring that our operations and activities remain aligned with the principles of Islamic teachings and community service.
At Masjid ul Mu’mineen, our mission extends beyond the five daily prayers. We are deeply committed to fostering a community that thrives on mutual respect, learning, and spiritual development. To this end, we host a variety of programs, including regular lectures on various aspects of Islam, designed to enlighten and inspire our congregation. These lectures, led by knowledgeable scholars from Darul Uloom Trinidad & Tobago and beyond, cover topics ranging from Quranic exegesis to the application of Islamic principles in daily life.
As we gather under the roof of Masjid ul Mu’mineen for these lectures and our regular prayers, we also extend our hearts and hands in supplication for all:
“O Allah, we ask You to bestow your blessings upon Brother Arman’s family, all our community members, and the wider Muslim Ummah. Guide us in supporting one another with kindness, understanding, and compassion. Grant us the wisdom to learn and grow together, strengthening our faith and our bonds of brotherhood.”
We warmly welcome you to join our community at Masjid ul Mu’mineen. Here, in the company of fellow believers, you will find a space of peace, a source of knowledge, and a community of support. Together, under the guidance and guardianship of Darul Uloom Trinidad & Tobago, let us continue to build a nurturing and thriving environment for all.
